Description
Wild Thing (Camatkarasana, flip dog) is a playful backbend that starts in a side plank-like position and involves flipping one leg back. It engages the supporting arm’s shoulder and upper back muscles along with the glutes and hamstrings of the supporting leg to lift and arch the hips. The result is an expansive stretch through the chest, throat, and hip flexors as the heart opens upward and the spine extends in an arcing backbend.
