Description
Low Boat Pose is a variation of Boat Pose performed closer to the ground, intensifying the workload on the core. The rectus abdominis and especially the lower abdominal fibers engage strongly to keep the shoulders and legs hovering just off the floor. The hip flexors remain active to hold the legs in line, and the pose demands control and endurance from the deep core stabilizers, while minimizing tension in the neck and shoulders for proper form. Handstand prep core work.
