Description
Full Moon Pose (Chandrasana) with Arm Grabbing Top Foot is an advanced balance and backbend posture that opens the chest, stretches the hip flexors, strengthens the standing leg, and improves flexibility and stability. Stand on one leg. Lean your torso forward and sideways, keeping it long and strong. Lift the opposite leg straight back and up. Reach the same-side hand behind to grab the top foot, pulling it toward your body while keeping the leg straight. Extend your free arm forward or down for balance. Keep your hips stacked or slightly rotated, spine long, chest open, and head neutral with a steady gaze. This pose challenges balance, deepens the backbend, and stretches the hips and shoulders.
