Description
Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana) is a forearm balance that develops significant shoulder and upper back strength, as well as core stability. The forearms press into the ground to support the body, engaging the deltoids, traps, and triceps, while the abdominal muscles and hip flexors contract to keep the body aligned upside down. This inversion also opens the shoulders and chest, as flexibility in those areas is needed to stack the torso over the base. Pincha, forearm stand arm balance.
